DESCRIPTION
The garden is a small rectangular plot in the school grounds and has been maintained as a refuge for wild animals and insects. It has a small pond which dries up in summer but still supports a colony of rare Great Crested Newts (as far as we know). Parts of the garden have been designated as mini habitats, For instance there is a mini wild flower area, a small coppice of hazel bushes, a bit of thicker woodland and an area for growing ancient vegetables such as Emmer Wheat
In recent times we have had a woodchip path through the garden constructed and installed a clay oven.
