Coppice quadrat analysis
We will need to record at least three 2 metre random/fixed quadrats in each of the new coppice areas. These will need to be recorded both in Spring and Summer, the latter being to estimate the full extent of Bramble cover. Also if time we should do a control series under full canopy in a suitable area near to the coppices.

Specific plant monitoring
Herb Paris
Two or 3 long standing colonies have been recorded in the past by Dave and Doris Baker. Currently we monitor three main colonies in the plateau area. Recording is a count of all spikes and also those bearing flowers.
